Fix My Credit Report without Bankruptcy!

Despite what you might think, declaring bankruptcy is not the only way to fix your credit. In fact when I wanted to fix my credit report the last thing I wanted to do was file for bankruptcy. Declaring bankruptcy may eliminate all of your debt, but it will truly leave your credit score in ruins. If you want to look into fixing your credit report, here are some great ways that helped me fix my credit score just by tweaking a few different spending aspects!

The first thing you have to do is get rid of all of the credit cards and store cards. This will help you to at least stop the debt. From there you may only want to use your debt card to pull cash out of the atm. Using cash only allows you to keep track of how much money you actually have left to spend. Without the credit cards, your spending may need to be cut, so make sure to live within your current means.

From there you need to get a clear picture about the state of your credit report. I had to fix my credit report by looking at all of the accounts that were behind or in severe collections. Your credit report needs to be purchased form the internet so that you can get all of the information necessary. Otherwise, you may be causing more trouble for yourself by cutting corners.

In order to fix my credit report, I had to pick up the phone and get in touch with all of my debt collectors. This may be hard for most because the phone my ring nonstop throughout the day. If you can get in touch with all or most of the collectors you may be able to work out some sort of payment plan. If this is not an option for you, debt consolidation is always another route that you could do. Most of the time if you take these small steps like I did to fix my credit report, you will start to be in pretty good shape after the very first year.
